You say I'm selfish, I agree with you on that

I need to apologise my absence. It's just that there haven't been much stuff to write about and my room is not in the right condition to make a room post (does anyone even want this anyway?) or anything and I've had other things to do or I've just been to tired to make a post. Now anyway I finally got some pics from Laura and I decided to actually do something!
So really nothing much have happened. Monday 26th was the briefing and it was nice seeing everyone but now it'll be some time before we'll see each other if we don't organise something our selves. After that I've mostly been hanging around with my friends and practising our performance for the class with Laura.

As a part of a music class everyone has to do this kind of a performance that we call TYS. It's usually singing and playing various instruments but I've heard someone has danced in their TYS. We don't possess such a ability (yet) but we sing quite a lot together and we have many songs we wanted to do duet versions of. So our songs were "Rumour has it/Someone like you" both songs are by Adele but the Mash-up is from Glee. We had the backgroud coming from the computer but it somehow failed at the beginning and things just fucked up but we made it through the song without either one starting to hypervantilate or cry and so good for us! Next we had two songs with me playing guitar. First was Lady Gaga's "Born this way" and then "I feel pretty/Unpretty" which is also a mash-up from Glee and the songs are from Westside story and I think "Unpretty" is by TLC but I'm still not sure. Then we had still one more song with background from the computer: "Smooth Criminal". Anyway this wasn't the original Jackson style but the background was played by a cello and a violin. So that's pretty cool. I somehow managed to fuck up the end of this also but I think we got A or A+ anyway so that's cool!

Apart from that all I've been doing is pretty much hanging around with the Fishclub. We didn't even have any sleepovers but we were buying clothes for Santtu last Saturday. We've been talking a lot about clothes with him lately and came to the realisation that we have pretty much the same taste. Or kind of. Of course I like to wear also women clothes in summer (mostly in summer) but it's like Santtu is the main character and I'm he's gay best friend. Or something like that. Anyway I got to style him, and it was nice.

I found Santtu some very nice jeans but they were little too long so I promosed to shorten them and his mum even paid me five euros for doing this! It wasn't a big deal but it's been forever since I've last sewed and it was kind of nostalgic.

Here is something nice I did in my arts class. We usually don't do anything cool and I'm kind of bored there but this was nice. It kind of pervaded and at first I was really pissed off but now it doesn't bother me anymore. You can still see it's Sherlock Holmes, right? We're painting huge doors now at the arts class and I'm trying to make the 221B Baker Street's door but I really just suck at pinting so we'll see how that's going to turn out.
So that's about it. Last Monday I was watching my brother's "End of the World" themed music project but I really don't know what to say about that, even if it was really cool! I've had terribly much exams at school for past two weeks but now it's Eastern holiday and I get to sleep long and see everyone I haven't seen in a while, like Hilbo. But now it's too much o'clock and I could really use some extra hours of sleep so let's just leave this here for now. Oh, now that I remember I've also bought three shirts for my self and I'll try and remember to show them in the next post as well as I'll let you know about my desucon plans. So there's something to look forward to! Have a picture of my face cause Mello cut my hair for the Matt cosplay and here is me with a forelock and a hipster scarf!

Remember when I was sweet and unexplainable

So it's been a week since my last entry and I have to say that nothing big has happened to me. Mostly I've just been home and sometimes with friends. Actually we had an extra school day last Saturday and yes, that sucks. Luckily, I'm in music and art class so basically we were just "doing arts" the whole day. Also, most of my class belongs to our theater club, or that's what we call it, so we made shirts for this club. Basic was a blue oversized t-shirt and the assigment was to design own picture/text in the front. The school day was short so not many finished their shirts. I got my front ready and took a picture with my phone for you to see. The quality sucks but you just have to deal with it for now.

After school I went to Myyrmanni (a shopping center near my place) to hang out and wait that Santtu and Otto could come out with me. So while trolling around in Anttila I found this.

That's my baby! Oh yes, I did buy the first season of Sherlock and I did have a nice chat with the cashier lady about Sherlock. I then went to the center of Helsinki with Santtu and Otto and we styled Santtu a hipster but I'm not giving you the pictures, just no.
Next day, I woke up at 5:30PM. Yes. I think I've never woken that late but it's good cause I had some sleep debt. Or I thought it was good cause the night after that I didn't sleep at all. Literally. That's because the last episode of Sherlock (yes, you'll hear about this) arrived 11PM in the time of Finland and I hate livestreams. So I waited. I waited as then went to find an download link to the episode and dowloaded it. And man, did that take time. Turns out the first video I dowloaded wasn't Sherlock at all. Luckily, I had also found a Megaupload link which turned out to be the last thing I ever dowloaded from that site. We all miss you! Anyway, by the time I had watched it and cried my heart out and turned off the lights it was already 5PM and I just decided to stay up that last hours before the wake. And that's what I did and I also went to school like that. But I tell you: Don't try this at home! By the time I got home I was too tired to even watch Glee with my mom and that tells a lot.

I think that's about the most interesting story of the week if even that was interesting. Oh well, said and done. I was at Hilbo's Wednesday with Mello but we just watched Yes/No (the newest Glee espisode) and then some amnesia videos. Today I went to Laura's with Santtu for some reasons I can't quite tell you right now but you will find out soon enough so don't worry, punkins.

I found these little precious things a while ago from our house. Actually I was looking for them and my mom helped but yes I have now The Complete Sherlock Holmes in my possession! Also I have The Adventures Of Sherlock Holmes in Finnish but that's not as fun is it. I mean the complete one is in English and the font is so very, very tiny and believe me when I say it's like the bible. Well for me at least. Unfortunately, I won't be able to start reading anytime soon 'cause I have to read one of my mom's books "Siivekäs vahtikoira" for my Finnish essay and I still haven't finished "Mockingjay".
I think that's enough of text and photos from the past week and let's hope I'll find something more interesting to tell you about next time. I'll be having a movie (Sherlock) marathon tomorrow or well today and I still need to clean the house and take shower before that so I better be off to sleep now. 'Till the next time!

TV taught me how to feel, now real life has no appeal.

I now it's 0:20 AM and I have to wake up 7:30AM tomorrow but I really just can't sleep. Like really. After Otto's and Hilbo's long persuasion I have finally watched the first two episodes of BBC One's Sherlock. And I've loved it. At first I thought that "Sherlock Holmes in the present time" sounded like they just didn't have enough money for all the sets and so. And to be honest Benedict Cumberbatch's face bothered me. Still does when not as Sherlock. So one time I decided to watch Study in Pink and see if it was any good but the only download link I could find had Spanish subtitles in it. I study Spanish so I may know some words of it and that birght yellow text was just so disturbing that I couldn't watch it. So when I was at Mello's last Wensday with Hilbo jawboned us to watch it and afterwards sent me list of download links to all of the episodes. And who am I to defy the great power of my Watson to be? So I watched it and was dead tired the next day at school. Still here I am, blogging about the fact that I just watched the second one in middle of the night. Oh well. Maybe after this I'll actually go to sleep.

Watching all these Sherlocks recently has made me realize how truly escapist I am. And now after watching The Bilnd Banker and being incredibly tired I just feel like locking my self up to an shitty apartment and solving cases with cocaine. Or maybe that's not exactly what I meant. I just  want to go to live to Hilbo's with only Sherlock, Team Starkid and Glee. But that doesn't really bother me. It's okay and it's not any problem at least for now. Just thought I'd share this thought.

Just one thing before I go to sleep if I go to sleep at all. My dad just gave me my monthly allowance and I'd like to use it well before I lose it all to food or something. So I thought I could maybe today after school or tomorrow go do some "gentleman shoppings" as I like to call it. Meaning I desperatedly want to buy things like dress shirts, bow ties, vests, blazers etc. And I could really use some comfty sweatpants and also new jeans. Too bad Hilbo and Mello are going to Desucon Frostbite otherwise I would have asked them to go with me but I'm sure I'll find some company somewhere.
